A justice for all

A justice for all project, within the framework of the Manarat Watan network, in which Medad operates as a founding partner.

Duration:

9 months from 1/6/2020 to 28/2/2021

Beneficiaries:

9 teams and civil society organizations, 180 opinion leaders and families of the victims

Goal:

To raise awareness of the concept of transitional justice and the need to avoid individual retaliatory solutions, and for it to be the law under which everyone falls in order to obtain their rights.

Scope of implementation:

Idlib, Killi, Atmeh

Activities:

Capacity building trainings for 9 civil society organizations and volunteer teams in Idlib, Killi, Atmeh, awareness-raising sessions for 9 to 180 targeted influencers, opinion leaders and victims in the targeted areas.

Success stories:

Many of the victims' families retreated from the idea of ​​retribution themselves from the perpetrators to resorting to the law after explaining the seriousness of the matter and the resulting drowning in blood that may not remain or be left behind.
