An eye on women liberated

An eye on women liberated project, to support the survivors of the regime's prisons.

The period:

4 months from 1/9/2018 to 31/12/2018

The goal:

Introducing aspects of suffering of female survivors from the regime's prisons, correcting the negative perception of society towards those previously arrested, defining the responsibility of society and humanitarian organizations towards them, encouraging female survivors to appear in the media, advocate and demand their rights.

Number of targets:

60 women survivors.

Scope of implementation:

Maarat Misrin and surrounding areas.

Activities:

Capacity building trainings, providing aid, communication and networking with organizations to provide job opportunities for those with knowledge experience and scientific certificates, video interviews with survivors, providing funds.

Success stories:

Providing job opportunities for 5 survivors, establishing a survivor's association.
