Initiator project

(Initiator project) to enhance community participation and raise awareness of the importance of resources.

Duration:

5 months from 01/09/2022 to 31/01/2023

Target:

260 people directly from the various activities, and 3,000 people through the awareness campaign.

Goal:

To strengthen the societal role in monitoring services

Scope of implementation:

Maarat Misrin, Kfar Hamoul, Ram Hamdan

Activities:

an introductory session, community research, participation, elections to choose representatives from each region, community development training in light of the sustainable development goals, negotiation skills, communication and mobilization skills, a session with organizations to discuss ways of cooperation and response between them and the community teams representing the communities in the target area, a campaign raising awareness of the need to conserve resources, the most important of which is water, which included distributing brochures and wall drawings.
